Terms of service

The free check

The check is offered as it is, free, with no promise of accuracy or availability. It fetches the public pages of the domain you type and reports what it found; it does not change anything. Do not run it on a site you have no right to have read. We may limit or refuse checks to keep the service running.

The plans

Watch, Fix and Run are monthly services at the prices on the pricing page, in pounds, billed monthly in advance, with no minimum term. You may cancel at any time; the month you cancel in is the last one billed. The Audit is a one-off at the price shown, delivered within five working days of our receiving what we need, and credited in full against the first month of Fix or Run if you start within 30 days.

What you get and what we do not promise

We provide the readings, the brief, the change orders and, on Run, the changes and the writing, as described on the pricing page. We do not promise a position in any assistant's answer, a number of citations, a number of visitors or a number of enquiries. The assistants choose; we show you what they chose.

Access and changes to your site

On Fix we touch nothing; you apply the change orders. On Run we apply them only through the access you give us and only after you approve each change. We never host, proxy, cache or inject into your site. You stay responsible for what your site says.

Liability

Our liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

The rest

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts there. If a part is unenforceable the rest stands. The privacy notice is part of these terms.
